2026 Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duanwu Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. The festival honors Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet and statesman from ancient China. People celebrate by watching dragon boat races, eating zongzi (sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves), and participating in various cultural activities.
